A couple months earlier this year, our team lead, Lina, had the opportunity to spend five weeks volunteering in the Kenyan slums and exploring Africa in-depth. As the happiest time of the year comes around, and as everyone is starting to remember what they’re grateful for, Lina has decided to start a fundraiser inspired by her volunteer work in Kenya. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to help provide educational resources and to help build a second building for a school in Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya.Lina volunteered at this particular school and witnessed first-hand how adverse the conditions these children are enduring, in addition to the challenges they are already facing with their health. Help us reach our goal of raising $6,000 to help all the struggling children in the slums have a chance at a better learning environment, and ultimately, a better life.

We are raising money for an organization called Kijabe Childrens Educational Fund Inc. Their mission is to raise money to develop educational programs in East Africa.
